How to Prepare Perogies

Cooking Instructions

Do not allow the perogies to thaw.

Stovetop Boil Method:

  1. Bring 2 litres of water to a full boil in a medium sized pot.

  2. Once boiling, gently add 1 bag (360 g) of frozen perogies. Reduce to a simmer.

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the water so the perogies don’t stick together.

  4. Partially cover the pot. Simmer for 19 minutes. Gently stirring a few times.

  5. Gently remove the perogies with a slotted spoon. Smear butter or margarine on to avoid sticking together. Serve immediately.
